Developed by the University of Massachusetts in 1950, the Waltham 29 is large-heading broccoli known for its incredible taste and ability to be grown in both spring and fall. Non-GMO. This broccoli is also known for its resistance to cold weather. Organic. Heirloom.

This annual broccoli seed should be planted in the cool seasons. Direct sow. Plant seeds a fourth of an inch deep and lightly cover with soil. Plant in direct sunlight. Space seeds every twelve to eighteen inches apart. Fifty to seventy days until mature. Central heads will be between four and six inches in diameter when ready to be harvested.
