Bring a traditional Asian garden treasure to your home with Baby Short Bitter Gourd, also known as Khổ Qua Lùn. This special bitter melon variety is admired for its compact, short fruits, vigorous climbing vines, and rich, bold bitter flavor.

A beloved ingredient in Vietnamese and Asian cooking, baby short bitter gourd is commonly used in soups, stir-fries, stuffed bitter melon dishes, and home-style herbal recipes. Its smaller fruit size makes it a wonderful choice for gardeners who enjoy harvesting tender bitter melons fresh from the vine.

This warm-season climbing vegetable grows best in full sun, rich well-drained soil, and warm temperatures. For best results, provide a strong trellis or support to help the vines climb, improve airflow, and make harvesting easier.
